Family Dollar's $5 off $25 is such a ripoff. The last 5 times I tried to use it the app messed up. I asked the clerk for the 800 number and I called it and left a message and no one ever called me back. I have since quit going to Family Dollar. Their customer service is one of the worst ever!!!
I'm a shopper at this store for the last three year since I moved to Hollygrove it's just out off convenience but on June 30th 2020 I had the second discouraging encounter with this worker who seem to be the supervisor and think i was her child, her attitude stinks no courtesy or respect towards people like myself who shop there on daily basis I always egnored her but I just had enough, I had my bag pack on and just came from work stop in there to pickup a dishwashing liquid that's all i needed,i could hear her from across the hall mam,mam mam all the way to the isles where the item was kept she wasn't wear a mask, came up in my face, can you hear?, Pointing to her ears I said yes and when around her she kept walking behind me u need to leave your bag, I said I'm not leaving my bag, she said well u have to leave the store I said put me out she said he's going to put me out that's the security at the door, I proceeded toward the cashier by this time she had told them not to ring up my item so i had to leave... if this they you treat customers then what the use I spend my money there she wasn't tell people they should have a mask on as several person in the store didn't have any on but she single me out and chased me for my bag pack. This area as been deemed a bad area but there're hard working and decent people the lives in close vicinity to this store and this is where they, when u leave you personal belongings at the cashier they do not give you any ticket to protect your property, your leaving it unprotected, anyone can leave with it and no one sees. I don't see the reason to comply with this rule when you have a security and cameras monitoring the store and u still want me to leave my belongings to the element something must be done to provide customers with service they deserve this is not acceptable for me to be treated like a criminal this is not state law so put something better in place and give your employees some customer service training all people aren't the same why treat us all like criminals.

I frequent store # 03045 in Goffstown NH, at least once a month, and today, I had finally had enough! I work in retail, and I know how difficult it can be. So, I have first hand knowledge of what it takes to do the job, and how it isn't always easy.
In the past I have let things go, because of my own experience with working with the public, and not wanting to make trouble. Today, I decided to break that silence. The store manager at this location has a TERRIBLE attitude, she has absolutely no regard for the shoppers in her store, and doesn't seem to have a problem hiding it. I attempted to walk down two aisles today, where she was stocking shelves, and she never looked up, never offered to move, or make a passage way for me to get by, I had to leave the aisles, and go from the other direction. Then, when I got in line for check out, there was only one person at the registers, and the line was forming behind me. She was able to see that the line was growing, and did offer her assistance to the lone cashier. A gentleman behind me made mention of the fact that it appeared they were short handed, and I said that the manager was stocking shelves, and not concerning herself with the situation. Another gentleman spoke up and said, "she is awful, I have had up close, and personal contact with her, and she is terrible", I agreed, as I had seen her in action in the past, and knew she was "difficult" at best. When I reached the register, I mentioned to the cashier that he should call her up, and he said, "no, I got it", he had no concern for the shoppers in line either. Hiring for these jobs right now is challenging, I know, because I work retail, however, if I behaved, or neglected my customers as she did today, I might not have a job to go back to.
I have been visiting the Family Dollar store on 400 Oberlin Rd. In Elyria, Ohio for 8 years. I have always found the cashiers to be helpful and professional. But a few years ago a new Cashier was hired for the day shift. This woman is very rude. She constantly talks with other Cashiers while attending to the customers. She used foul language and will even talk on her phone while ringing the customer up. The only people she greets happily as they enter the store are her neighborhood friends.
Store 08026 Has friendly Employess starting with Manager. Everyone takes the time to help you. One especially is Crystal who went out of her way one day to try and pull up coupons on her phone when mine would not. I know excellent Customer Service as my last 10 years in Retail (Dollar Tree) was as a DM. Now retired for 5 Years
Thank You to Employees of 08026 in Reidsville N
The summer is coming and tried to purchase a inflatable pool online. I selected the pool and went to checkout to pay. I continued to get a error message several times. After waiting FOREVER I finally spoke to a CSR only to find out this item was out of stock. Why couldn't it just say "out of stock" on the website. SMH..

Store In Detroit, Michigan On Schoolcraft & Southfield Looks Like A Hoarder Moved In. I Thought That I Walked Into An Abandoned Building With Garbage Everywhere. Items, Clothing And No Telling What Else Was Scattered All Over The Floor. This Store Is Beyond Being Unorganized. Poorly Being Managed Even At The Minimal Level Expected And It's Evident. I'll Never Go Back Into That Back Of Ally Store Anytime Soon. There Must Be A Sign Reading Under New Management Before I Even Attempt To Peek Inside.
very nasty store always dirty, the owners are very racist, they follow you around the store looking at everything you do, alot of items they sell have expired. they let anyone walk in store with no mask, a very high risk place to get covid. this review is for the family dollar at washington indiana 47501
Phone said they closed at 10. I called the store at 9 and said they close at 9. They better get that straighten up. I will do my shopping at dollar general from now on
I enjoy shopping here. I like the store and I am able to shop here. They are cheaper than other places
Every time I buy ANYTHING OUT OF FAMILY DOLLARS STORE PERIOD THEY STEAL IT THE CASHIERS ARE INDEED ARE STEALING OUT OF THE CASH REGISTERS THE STORE OFF PALM BEACH BLVD IS DISCRIMINLATORY THEY DO NOT HAVE OR WANT NOTHING BUT SPANISH MEXICAN PEOPLE COMING INSIDE THESE STORES
Nasty store outside. Trash all around the door outside. They never clean up the trash. Plus they hire people who can't even speak English. This is the USA, not Mexico. If they can't or won't learn English, they need to go back to Mexico. We don't need them here.
As a former manager I would like all F.D. customers out there to put yourself in the staffs shoes for a moment. I can only speak for the stores I managed. These people are severely under paid and corporate will only allow hourly employees to work a maximum of 34 hours or so. They consider that full-time. It allows them to legally refuse certain benefits. These people aren't making anything near a living wage. Under no circumstances does this make poor customer service okay. But maybe it can soften your hearts a bit towards them. As a former manager I tried to make up for the company's many shortcomings. At Christmas employees get a coupon for $20(taxes not included) or so. A FAMILY DOLLAR COUPON. How is this a bonus? It goes right back into their wallets. I would give my employees real cash bonuses out of my own pocket. Because hourly employees are not allowed to work actual full-time, the manager, me, has to compensate. I worked a minimum of 60 hours a week. I kept up a beautiful and organized store. I was salaried for 52 hours a week. When I would calculate my actual hourly earnings I was consistently making MUCH less than my employees. So next time you find yourself angry at a Family Dollar employee, direct that anger to the corporate heads. They make an awful lot of money. Trust me. They do. They consistently and aggressively treat their workers very badly. In turn, they are treating their customers badly. Call them. I'm serious. Every store should have a poster with a number to call. Do it often and do it loudly. This is not how a company in America should be treating it's employees or customers.
